Living Strong - Supporting the LAF
There are more than 10 million Americans living with cancer and chances are you know one of them. To raise funds for the Lance Armstrong Foundation, in May 2005, two young men, David Benyo and Dana Carr, will embark on a cross-country cycling journey from Los Angeles, CA to Myrtle Beach, SC.
Founded in 1997 by cancer survivor and champion cyclist Lance Armstrong, the LAF believes that in the battle with cancer, knowledge is power and attitude is everything. From the moment of diagnosis, the Foundation provides the practical information and tools people living with cancer need to live strong.
David and Dana's trek will show that actions speak louder than words as they tackle this arduous journey. Your contribution will demonstrate your support in the fight against cancer and solidify the old adage that indeed "actions speak louder than words."
